It listens to each answer as it comes in. When a participant is vague, contradicts themselves or mentions something interesting, it asks a follow-up to dig deeper, like a trained researcher would. You set the goals in your discussion guide, and the moderator decides when to probe and how far.

How is AI moderation different from a human moderator?

AI moderators can run many interviews at once, at any hour and in any time zone. Every participant gets the same neutral tone, so there's no moderator fatigue and less bias. Human moderators are still the better choice for highly sensitive or very exploratory sessions. Many teams use AI to go broad and humans to go deep.
